Christine Sun Kim Work is Inspirational, Educational, enlightening, broadened my perspective, awareness increasing, and includes lots of activism. 

Art work #1 uses the element of line, specifically curved lines to represent the sign language work for the future which is 2 upside down U’s. This gives the artwork a hopeful playful feeling to it.

Art work #2 uses the element of value. Specifically in the contrast of the white on black lettering to give the artwork an eerie feeling, and to communicate disparity.
